Zesty Grilled Beef
This zesty grilled beef recipe has a tasty marinade with a kick that will make your steak taste even better. Soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and spices are mixed together to make a savory and sour marinade that goes well with grilled meat that has charred from the smoke.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef steak such as sirloin or ribeye
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, paprika, thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes
Place the beef steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish
Pour the marinade over the beef, making sure it is evenly coated
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Remove the beef from the marinade and discard any excess marinade
Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached
Remove from the grill and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving
Slice the steak against the grain and serve hot
